Ego is the emotional Being identified as " I am "
Every titles and possessions identified as mine is the 'ego'.
Ego is the self conviction of an illusion created by intellect as True.
In reality the truth of being oneself is beyond the Ego.
But the intellect can not identify the personal self beyond the 'ego'.
That is the reason behind the need of a God (creator ).
Beyond oneˋs own ego (intellect) the truth of being oneself
is the Supreme Being itself.
